Workers with disabilities
Target communities / beneficiaries challenges:
Products made by workers with disabilities can be unsuitable for the market demand, so it is difficult to find output, leading to low income of disabled workers; 49.4% of workers with disabilities live in poor, near-poor households; average income is only 2 to 2.5 million VND / month
Project activities:
Set up a separate consumption channel for products of workers with disabilities (nhacuavui.com), in this channel, profits are directly shared for disabled workers to create products. This supports disabled workers to become active in the job market. Crafts and products are better suited to this market.
Long-term goal:
Increase the average income and skills of disabled workers
Short-term goal:
- Successfully build up a reputable distribution channel supported by consumers for the products of disabled workers
- Liquidate inventory so that establishments have the capital to revolve, improve products to suit the market to ensure stable sales.
- The employees have improved their skills and been trained in related skills
