Vision: Aiming for a welcoming community for children with developmental disabilities
Mission:
- Organizes art teaching activities to improve social communication skills, physical activities skills, concentration, and creativity for children with developmental disabilities from 5 to 16 years old in Đồng Nai.
- Create a creative learning environment through experiencing art and organizing play and camping activities to help children with developmental disabilities integrate better in society.
- Improve social awareness about equality in learning and community participation of children with developmental disabilities through forums and activities.
- Improve awareness within the family to reduce the burden of care through activities with children and forums or training classes for parents.

2. Project proposal:
Location: Đồng Nai
Implementation period: 1 Oct 2021 - 1 Oct 2022
Issue focus:
- SDG 4: Quality education
- SDG 3: Good health and well-being
Project Beneficiaries:
30 children with developmental disabilities (children with mental retardation, autism, ADHD, social communication disorder, learning disability, movement disorders, etc) from 5 to 16 years old.

Challenges in the beneficiary community:
- Lack of an environment for playing, studying, and integrating.
- Lack of an environment for studying and developing like normal children.
- The government has not had appropriate supporting policies.
- Parents are not sufficiently informed about disabilities.

Project activities:
Open 2 art classes for children with developmental disabilities aged 6-15 in Biên Hòa, Đồng Nai
Organize 3 seminars about “Identifying and dealing with issues from children with developmental disabilities in primary school.”
Organize 2 seminars about “Guiding parents in sex education for children with developmental disabilities”
Organize 3 seminars about “Identifying and dealing with issues from children with developmental disabilities in primary school.”
Long term goal:
Create a welcoming community for children with developmental disabilities in Biên Hòa city.

Short term goal:
- Reduce inappropriate behaviours, provide physical and mental training, improve concentration through art classes for children with developmental disabilities from 6-15 years old in Đồng Nai.
- Raise awareness about dealing with children’s difficult issues at school through sharing sessions, seminars for parents and teachers at primary, secondary, and special schools.
- Support children with learning communication and social skills (making friends, playing, learning in groups outside the community) through organizing extra-organizational activities (outdoor art, art factory visits, etc).
- Encourage creativity and create a healthy playground for children through organizing online art competitions for children with developmental disabilities in Đồng Nai province.
