The tournament is open to children from shelters and children from international schools in HCMC.
Goals
To help disadvantaged children in shelters/open houses play football to improve health, spirit and adaptability to society.
Expectation outcomes/changes:
For disadvantaged children from shelters
-To give the opportunity for disadvantaged children to participate in enjoyable sporting activities.
-To create an opportunity for them to engage in a social activity, to exchange ideas and experience with their peers from other shelters and international schools, therefore to learn and develop from each other.
-To raise their confidence and self-esteem
For advantaged children from international schools. -To play football and have fun
-To exchange ideas, knowledge and social skills with their peers from different social backgrounds.
-To become aware of different ways of life, to share societal responsibility, Communication effects: Various media channels will be invited to report the tournament. We want to use the tournament to attract community’s concern and raise awareness about the children’s living conditions.
