Name: Hear.Us.Now (H.U.N)
Year of establishment: 2014
Vision: We believe that we can bring about confidence and optimism in life, and equip hearing impaired students with the necessary life skills for them to integrate into society and contribute to the development of Vietnam.
Mission: Bring about equal access to education for the hearing impaired community in Vietnam through English and I.T teaching programs, as well as activities to increase social awareness about the difficulties of this community.

Project Beneficiaries:
294 hearing impaired students currently studying at 2 schools supported by HUN, Anh Minh and Hy Vọng Bình Thạnh
Challenges in the beneficiary community:
- Hearing-impaired students can graduate from secondary school, yet they still do not have the opportunity to continue their education at a high school.
- Hearing-impaired students can graduate from secondary school, yet they still do not have the opportunity to continue their education at a high school.
- Private schools with support for the students are usually to expensive.
- With only a secondary education diploma, they can hardly succeed with their dreams in the future.
- They also wish to go to school like their peers.
Project activities:
Collaborate with Thủ Khoa Huân School to provide hearing-impaired students with high school education.
Train the trainers
- Provide sign-language training for 30 officers and internal staff
- Special education pedagogy and psychology training
- Soft skills training for volunteers.
Long term goal:
- Bring equalizing opportunities for hearing-impaired students to study, participate, and choose their careers.
- Equip hearing-impaired students with career knowledge and skills to support their work.
- Raise public awareness about the difficulties that hearing-impaired people are facing and erase social prejudice about their learning and work abilities in Vietnam
Short term goal:
- Complete training for volunteers to support HUN in teaching and caring for hearing impaired students.
- Create motivation for volunteers to interact with hearing-impaired students and understand their difficulties to work with them smoothly in the future.
- Create opportunities for hearing impaired students that have graduated from secondary school and are moving on to high school to have a fulfilling 3 years of education to create good career opportunities in the future.
